COMMUNITY SUPPORT COMMITTEE
The Support Committee is made up of community volunteers. The Support Committee assists the Commanding Officer in the recruiting of Cadets, promotes the Corps and its activities in the community, organizes fundraising events, and provides financial support with funds received through fundraising efforts and donations.
The Support Committee is always happy to have parents' support in our fundraising efforts and promoting our Corps and the Army Cadets Program.
Typically the Support Committee meets monthly during the training nights. There is a certain time commitment required, however we will take whatever you can give!
Corporate Sponsors
Corporate sponsors play an important role in ensuring the sustainability of the corps in the community. They provide financial supports, access to resources, equipment and facilities, and opportunities for the cadets to participate in activities not funded by the Cadet program.
Corporate sponsors work with the Commanding Officer or the Corps staff to identify their level of support. Each relationship with our corporate sponsors is cherished and maintained.
For the 2023-2024 training year, with the move of 137 RCD to its new home in Rockland, we are seeking local sponsors to assist with accessing storage facilities, equipment purchases, and Corps promotional materials.
Examples of previous Sponsor Contributions
provided access to property for field training exercises
purchased equipment for team competitions
providing funding for cadet outings or activities
